We offer spacious and elegant boutique bed and breakfast-styled accommodation, which is separate from the main house. A luxury king-size bed, complete with quality bed linen, is provided for your comfort.
We can add an extra bed in the Mews to accommodate a larger party. A sumptuous continental breakfast is included in the tariff. Free parking is provided. Free Wifi allows you to catch up on your emails whilst relaxing, and you can even enjoy a game of tennis if you so wish.
Or you can choose a good book from our library if you prefer. Your privacy is respected at all times.

Firth Street Mews offers a great location, situated at 163 Firth Street (State Highway 27), with the Matamata town centre just a 1.5km stroll to a variety of cafes and restaurants, and the town’s iconic Gatehouse.
The world famous Hobbiton Movie set is just 16km from our gate. There are many local attractions to fill in your days while you are here. There are four great golf courses within 30km of Matamata. Or if you are a keen tramper, you might like to visit the Wairere Falls in the Kaimai Ranges which is 15kms from Matamata, or you might like to do the Three Kauris’ Walk also in the Kaimai Ranges. Hosts Kate and Graeme Guilford’s aim is to make you feel special and indulged while you spend time in their beautiful part of the world and are looking forward to your visit. Graeme, a past president of Matamata Rotary Club and a Paul Harris Fellow, extends a warm welcome to visiting Rotarians.
